
Trunk Road Connector (Katherine Drive)
Description:
The purpose of this project was to provide safer road and pathway access to Pioneer Peak Elementary School, the new Mat-Su Central School, and businesses nearby. This connector created an alternate access onto Trunk Road. Changes to traffic patterns on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway increased the necessity of this connecting project.Benefits:

The road is substantially complete and open to the public for use. MEA is currently working to supply power to the load centers for the new intersection lighting. Once power is available, the poles will be erected, and the lights will be installed.Cost:
