• Description:
    This project will install a traffic signal, turn lanes, crosswalks, street lighting, and signage at the intersection of Seward Meridian Parkway and Tambert Drive. Funds were transferred to Alaska DOT&PF to include in their Seward Meridian project.
  • Benefits:
    Provides a safer intersection crossing for students attending a middle school, career technical high school, and charter school. Provides a safer intersection crossing for people living in the large subdivisions to the east and others using the Seward Meridian pathway. This pathway provides a connection between the Parks Highway and Seldon Road.

    Under construction as part of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities’ Seward Meridian Parkway Phase II project.
