
MSB School District Pedestrian Projects (Safe Routes to Schools)
- Description:
This package of projects was designed to provide safer access to schools for pedestrians. It implemented recommendations of the MSB Safe Routes to Schools Plan. The projects included improvements at: Big Lake Elementary School, Colony Middle & High Schools, Dena’ina Elementary and Redington Sr. Jr/Sr High School, Larson Elementary School, Machetanz Elementary School, and Talkeetna Elementary School. The projects included signage, striping, pathways, and sidewalks. - Benefits:
