Oilwell Road Fish Passage Improvement

Scope

The Oilwell Road Fish Passage Improvement project consisted of 4 Fish Passage Culverts on Oilwell Road off of Petersville Road.

Project Benefits

Fish culverts allow for increased fish migration through the culverts. This increases fish stocks on the stream where the culvert is installed. Over time, increased fish stocks may be seen in other areas as well.

Project Status

Engineering for the project began in October of 2013. Construction took place during summer of 2014, was substantially completed in October of 2014, and will be finished in Spring of 2015.

Project Cost

The project total cost of $665,000 mostly went towards Engineering and Construction.
