Quote Description: This project’s purpose is to perform temporary paving patches where the asphalt was damaged on three sites on Point McKenzie Road that were caused by the November 30, 2018 Cook Inlet Earthquake (DR4413).
Provide all materials, labor and equipment to prepare and pave three areas. At each area, grade off top 2” to 4” layer of existing materials, install 2” of D-1 base course, and pave with 2” Hot Mix Asphalt, Type II-B. Establish smooth transition to existing asphalt on all sites. Establish 2% crown and drainage away from the road shoulders. Any excess grading material may be placed uniformly on shoulders and fore slopes. No sawcuts or asphalt removal is needed for these temporary repairs.
