Proposal Description: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is in the process of updating its 1987 Historic Preservation Plan (HPP). In June 2019, the MSB received a certified local government grant from the State Historic Preservation Office to begin this update. This grant is for Phase I of the update: inventory of past preservation efforts, public outreach, and development of goals, objectives, and next steps for the preservation plan.

The MSB is seeking a contractor to coordinate and facilitate public meetings, and to develop a final deliverable that summarizes and synthesizes HPP Phase I planning efforts, and recommends next steps for the completion of the plan update in HPP Phase II.
