Technical rescue programs consisting of rope, off-road and confined space

Central Mat-Su Fire Rescue responds to over 450 calls each year. This includes primarily motor vehicle crashes with a variety of other technical and off-road rescue incidents. This represents over ½ of the entire rescue call in the Mat-Su Borough.

Central Rescue consists of the following units:

Rescue 61 

Squad 51 (Service company and backup rescue unit)

Two Yamaha 660 4-Wheelers with trailers
