Maxwell Sumner Appointed to Assembly Dist. 4

Tonight, during a Mat-Su Borough Assembly Special Meeting, candidate Maxwell Sumner was appointed to the District 4  Assembly seat, which was recently vacated by Robert Yundt. 

Three total candidates in attendance were interviewed, before the Assembly went into Executive Session to discuss and ultimately make their decision to appoint Mr. Sumner, who was later sworn in. 

The law requires the appointed candidate to serve up until the next Regular Election of November 2025.
