Plan Overview

The Fishhook Community recently concluded a four year process to write the first comprehensive plan specifically for that area when the Assembly passed the plan on March 21, 2017. Fishhook is a unique community where most people enjoy an outdoor lifestyle. Ask almost any resident and they will tell you that they love the variety of recreational opportunities available on our backyard public lands. Hunting, fishing, biking, four wheeling, dog walking, ice skating, skiing, snow machining...Fishhook has it all. This comprehensive plan used the results of a community wide survey to help identify what’s important to the community so that those things will be supported in the future. Another purpose of the plan is to help the community respond to changes in a way that accommodates growth while holding onto characteristics that make Fishhook a good place to live and visit.
