Parcel & tax information is public data, and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough makes it available through it's myProperty site and interactive mapping viewers. While there are exceptions,  State law requires that local & state governments provide access to appropriate records and information, but there are some exceptions.  

As a courtesy by the Borough, some information, such as owner name, may be redacted from display on request. This form allows a property owner to request the removal of the owner's name from the Borough's myProperty web page. Other information relating to the property will remain available at the web page. Please be aware that this form will be placed in the property file and will remain accessible to individuals through a public records request, as well as any list of those who have opted out.

If you submit a properly executed form to the Assessments department, the Borough will make every effort to timely and accurately respond to it. However, by submitting this form you agree that the Matanuska-Susitna Borough is not liable in anyway for the content, accuracy, reliability, viewpoints, or policies instituted by this process. The Borough suggests that you periodically check the My Property web page to ensure that it is being so handled, and notify the Borough if you believe it is not.
