Sunshine Creek Recreation Site Improvements

Scope

Improve the recreation site access road to Pioneer Standards, expand the parking area, add overflow parking/camping spots, and add RV camping spots to increase distance between users.

Project Benefits

Improve drainage of water off the roadway by creating ditches, provide more parking spots which will encourage less parking on access road, which in turn allows for improved emergency vehicles access to get around the loop, and promote COVID-19 responsible recreation with appropriate distancing.

Project to be complete at the end of October 2020.
