The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (Borough) Land & Resource Management Division has received a request from Matanuska Electric Association (MEA) for a 15’ X 105’ public utility easement on Borough-owned property known as Tract A, Firestation 6-2 Subdivision (tax account # 7971000T00A). Last winter the snow on the annex building slid off and destroyed the powerlines. This is a Borough project to bury the powerlines underground and MEA is requesting an easement for the secondary service line.
