Hatcher Pass State Recreation Area - Open

The Department of Natural Resources has created a web-based incident report for recreational user conflicts in the East Hatcher Pass Management Area.

Collected information may be used to assist DNR in identifying recreational conflict types and areas of conflict. These reports will not necessarily result in active enforcement or investigation.

Grooming Reports for Independence Mine and Archangel Road: Mat-Su Ski Club or Snowio 

From the MSSC 1/12/23:
Independence Mine: 21 degrees, 43 inches of snow.
Archangel Rd: 18 degrees, 30 inches packed snow. Non-motorized section was groomed Tuesday, will be groomed Friday night.
Moose Range: 18 degrees, 18 inches of snow. Most trails are groomed and usable by ski, snowshoe or fat tire bike. Daily updates available on the Mat-Su ski Club website using the Nordic Pulse app.
